About Golferblogger
and Contact Information
Golferbogger.com was founded by Tim Schoch in 2009, although it truly began many, many years earlier when Tim was a boy. His uncle was a hardworking greenskeeper who introduced Tim to golf, gave him some old hickory sticks, and arranged a summer job for him out of the caddy shack. When Tim’s uncle died, Tim realized then—and for the rest of his life—how very lucky he was to have been given the gift of golf. It is not only a wonderful game, but a standard by which you can live an honest life and make the best decisions.
Golferblogger is not a foundation, but an independent vehicle for Tim to pursue objectives he’s long held dear. The purposes of this site are:
– To encourage a resurgence of creative golf literature, fiction, poetry, humor, entertainment, and accounts of not only the game, but of its humanity, personalities, positive attributes, and fun.
– To help spread opportunities to embrace golf and its high ethical and moral standards by supporting junior golf at all levels and geographies.
By setting a good example with Golferblogger.com, and by partnering with supportive affiliates and individuals, Tim hopes that his two major objectives will continue to grow.
Tim Schoch is a novelist, magazine and multimedia writer, and marketing communications specialist with 30 years experience. He’s also the father of three boys, a lifelong golfer, a professional actor and performer, songwriter, and humorist. He is a member of AEA, AFTRA and PRSA.
